Prayers

Each week a prayer of the week is offered in our worship for members to take home and remember each day.

We have an active telephone prayer chain.

Presence

We worship at 10:00 on Sunday mornings.

Members participate in worship through a variety of ways including welcoming, reading and assisting with the holy communion.

Gifts

The ministry of the local church is dependent upon the gifts of the congregation. Financial gifts are cared for by our financial secretary and treasurer. Our budget is overseen by the Administrative team. At present our budget is able to provide financial support for half of our pastor’s time.

Financial gifts may be sent to the church online.

Service

Camas UMC supports Camas Friends Church with their distribution of food and clothing for our community. Each month items are collected and shared.

Members of Camas UMC volunteer in a variety of ways in our community supporting our local schools and non-profit programs.

Witness

In all that we do we pray that others have an experience of God’s grace. We strive to make witness for the Jesus in our life and ministry in the community.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
